College-Bound High School Seniors:
What’s Your Major?

It’s summertime in Minnesota, which means we get outside and soak up as much sun as we can. I am genuinely sorry to interrupt the fun of summer to talk about majors and college applications.

But if you know a rising high school senior who’s planning to apply to colleges, the summer is a good time for them to be thinking about what major they want to list on those applications.

For students who are not sure what they want to study, it can be helpful to spend a little time exploring their options. While it is perfectly fine to put “Undecided” on college applications, it’s good to have some ideas to make sure the colleges on their list have those majors and programs.

College Major Exploration Package

I’ve created a 3-session package tailored to the needs of college-bound high school seniors to help them explore potential majors.

Session 1: Foundations

In the first session, we’ll gather the important information about your student, such as academic background, extracurriculars, jobs, interests, skills, values, and types of colleges they are considering.

Session 2: Career Assessment

Next, they’ll take a career interests inventory and values survey, and we’ll begin to connect their interests to majors and career paths. 

Session 3: Programs, Majors & Future Paths

Finally, they’ll get tailored recommendations of majors and programs and colleges that align with their profile, as well as discuss real-world careers and future paths tied to those majors.

The Details:

• 3 1-hour sessions

• Virtual or in-person (Maple Grove, MN)

• Parents are welcome to join or to take a back seat

• $650 for the package and add on additional sessions at reduced rate
